Welcome To Bude

Find yourself in the award winning coastal town of Bude. What's not to love about this seaside town, and only 8 short miles from Parnacott. Wander the town and discover unique shops of all sorts.

 

Food's a must while visiting Bude, with locally run restaurants, great pizzas and burgers - by no means average - amazing fish and chips, Cornish pasties, ice cream places and branded or local coffee shops  abounding, you won't struggle to find places to eat and drink.

Bude has 3 beaches, one, Summerleaze, dog friendly.  Crooklets and Summerleaze have both been awarded Blue Flag status.  (Blue flag is internationally recognized as the "gold standard" for water quality in 2024, and a fitting tribute to these beautiful beaches.) 

 

There are 5 further beaches along the coast close to Bude.  Try Widemouth Bay first; the two beaches have also been awarded Blue Flag status. 

 

Surfing is a big part of Bude and its culture so there's no better time to get into the waves.  Surf schools are there in Bude and at Widemouth to help first timers on the Malibu boards.  Summerleaze is famous for its tidal sea pool - great for children and those wanting to do lengths.
